Is your skin is dehydrated? 💧

One way I check in clinic is by doing a gentle “pinch test” on the skin (like I’m showing here on my client’s forehead). If the skin looks tight, crepey, or slow to bounce back – that’s dehydration showing.

The first video is my clients skin before her facial, the second is after. Much plumper and 100% more hydrated! 💦

✨ Signs your skin is dehydrated:
• Fine lines suddenly appearing (even if you don’t usually have them)
• Skin looking dull, tired or flat
• Tightness or discomfort after cleansing
• Makeup sitting unevenly or clinging to dry patches

💦 How to re-hydrate your skin:
• Drink plenty of water, topical hydration is key but drinking lots of water is good for all round health!
• Use hydrating serums with hyaluronic acid or glycerin
• Avoid harsh cleansers and too many exfoliating products
• Book in for regular hydrating facials to restore your skin barrier
